  I had purchased a Quest protein bar from the Brooklin, ON location which was not edible (it was hard as a rock) The sales associate at the location had made the suggestion I purchase one that was on sale which I did. I came to learn quickly why it was on sale - it was hard as a rock. I was panicked thinking I had broken one of my front teeth trying to bit into the bar. When it was brought to her attention, her response was that they are known to be a more solid bar. I explained to her that I have been eating Quest bars for at least 2 years now and have never had one that was rock hard. She was not willing to exchange the bar claiming that it was a final sale. I can understand her refusal if the situation had been that I didn't like the bar but in this case it was not edible!!!!!!! I work in the retail/customer service industry myself and this would absolutely not be the outcome of the same situation for our company. I was also offended that she was telling me in a round about way that I had no idea what I was talking about regarding the bar. I had mentioned that she should not be selling the items to her customers if they are no longer edible. I have been a supporter of that particular location since it has opened but will now take my business elsewhere. EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
